coolant over fill after service,i syphoned some off,=ok?

Took by bongo for a service and found the coolant was over the mwax and making my high coolant alarm go off.

so i syphoned it off back down to max.was that ok to do.??

They did blead it,i think they just over filled the expantion tank

keep an eye on the coolant level, check it every few days to make sure it does not drop below the low level.
there may still be an airlock in the system.
Lost without my Bongo.

If it drops to the LOW level the LOW alarm will be squealing !!

It'd be worth carrying around a bottle of spare coolant just in case Jez... :wink:

ahh yes..nice one!

haydn you were right low did peep after me tanking some out,so got a spare bottle reay to top up as we go,i expect if i lest it it may have settled down but couldnt stand that alarm going off at me!!

I have hearing issues and its just the worse thing!..well better than a new enging anyway! we were just saying today glad we got it now and know it works ok!
