Bongo Fury

had my freeda back from a new garage today, and they fixed the problem, it was eating the gasket between the manifold and exhaust on a weekly basis, the problem was a fixing strap of some kind that comes off a bracket off the gearbox about 10 inches down from the manifold was not there! he couldnt source one so he fabricated one up and stuck it on, i also asked him to have a look for an oil leak as ive noticed a few spots on the drive this last week, it was the sump plug not tight! so he tightened it up and checked and all ok. and he only charged me £20, so there are still some honest decent people out there and now im driving along with outside air coming in and not misting up, very happy days.

Like you said its nice to meet honest decent people/garages, they are out there you just have to look.
