No water bleed tube

The title says it all really...I can't see a bleed tube, but there are clips where one would be clipped out of the way...head replaced last July at 321 Away

Sounds like a Ford Ranger head and they didn't swap the hose connector over

I assume it's not a 2l petrol, otherwise yes there should be a bleed pipe.

Wasn't there a post on the forum about some dealers bleeding them by jacking the front ends up on ramps? Best to speak to 321 about it? Strikes me that if a non standard mod has been done then they have created an obligation to help you on it?

321 are forum members so I'm sure they will respond. Also, if it's a Ranger head - is it suitable for a bongo, I'm sure someone can confirm

Hopefully 321 can help...though we've just been on a 20 mile drive in the sunshine up a hill on a motorway and the temp gauge went right up. When we got out at the other end I was surprised not to hear the cooling fans running.
When we drove the 20 miles home, the weather wasn't so hot and the temp stayed where you'd expect it to be except when we went up and over a bridge and then then the temp rose somewhat but came straight back down.

So I think a look at the fuses and relay for the fans is needed? I must admit the large fuses are a new one on me...are they obvious when they have blown? and how can I test a relay (I'm presuming there is one)

I see that Ady is browsing the forum as I type this so some proper advice will soon be here, but my concern is that if you have a standard unmodded temp gauge then the temp shift is pretty serious as they basically don't move from 11 o/c until it's too late.
