if you want to run led indicators , you need to install a extra flasher unit to suit (available on the bay). effectively the vehicle's flasher relay thinks that a bulb has blown (led's draw virtually no current) , hence the rapid flash rate. i installed led indicators on my suzuki jeep but because i keep the old thing going on an uber-tight budget i made my own relays fron 5w bulbs hot glued into kinder egg toy containers & wired them into the circuit.job done.borntobag wrote:ditto.....
going to fit a small spot light or two to my tow bar instead and graft them into my reversing light circuit to try and aid with after hours backwards driving, tinted windows dont help much either..lol
I even tried putting LEDs into my indicators but due to their low current draw they flash like mad, just like when a bulb has blown, so dont waste your dosh like i did.
Give em there own fused power off a relay...! (Like you would the fogs.)borntobag wrote:ditto.....
