Original rear speakers

Hi,can any body tell me the pysical size of the original rear speakers.Have done a search,but not sure of sizes quoted are correct,or modifications.Only want original sizes.

not sure of the actual size but they are the same as the fronts on a mazda 323 or 323f or 626 (oval ones) the bongo fronts (round ones) are fitted in the rear of the above.

they are an in between size, 6 x 4 ....

Pics available on Speakers Fact Sheet. (Not very good quality reproduction) but size is nominally 8 x 6" although 5 x 7" will also fit.

For example I fitted Alpine SXE 5725S speakers as a direct replacement. The point is the originals are not 9 x 6" which is a more common size.

Sorry, due to the atrocious weather I got in late and wasn't venturing out again last night. I'll post the pic of the speaker and bracket tonight.

I make them 8x6 too.

Pics attached - sorry about the poor quality of the one showing the height of the speaker. This speaker is from the driver's side - I don't know if the bracket on the other side is the same.
