Which battery to buy?

Post by mtbkim » Wed Jun 08, 2011 4:11 pm

Hi

My main battery is not too good, so looking to get a new one. What do I need to look for & any recommendations on where to buy? And the same for the leisure battery too?

Thanks!

I'm in Bath too! (Well near it.. Brought up in Bath.) Try Bathwick tyres on the lower Bristol road for the main battery...
Cheaper by comparison to a race horse...

I have just got one of these from Tanya Batteries for my 2.5 TD. Next day delivery so no need to run about. It is the cold cranking amps that is the important bit, the higher the better. Whatever battery you buy put it on charge with a CTEK or similar trickle charger until it is fully charged before you put it into your Bongo.

Or consider this...

also available here;

No problems at all starting throughout the recent cold weather. 5 year warranty and with a pair you are set to go.
