Kent to Cornwall

Hi guys, we are off on hols this Saturday traveling to Padstow in the Bongo. Our route will probably be as follows from Dymchurch in Kent, does anyone know of any good stop off points on route or have any advise.

M20, M26, M25, M3, A303 & A30

There a a few National trust places just off the A303. We use them as posh service stations. Good place for a picnik, let the kids run around and you can get a good cup of tea.
