Interior light in the pop up roof.

Post by Partick Monkey » Sun Aug 11, 2013 3:17 pm

Hello all,
Thats me and the GF just recently become part of the big Bongo family with our (brand new) 1998 2.5D Friendee campervan. Had it a few weeks and after getting the anti-roll drop links replaced and a couple of other bits n bobs done on it, the pair of us are loving the wee thing.
We do however have a small problem with the ceiling light in the pop-up roof not working. The contact mechanism in it has completely seized and there is no getting around the fact that we'll need a completely new light unit for it. Having searched the internet I'm not having much luck finding the Imasen 11561-256 part I am looking for. Can anyone help me out?
Much appreciated...

Also as a cheeky wee P.S,
We are needing to get the thing undersealed pretty soon as it looks like we've had our summer. Does anyone know anywhere near Glasgow that could possibly do this for us to a reasonable standard and at a reasonable cost?

Thank you.

I guess it all depends on size on to cover the existing hole etc. The lamps themselves will work fine if you like the colour of the LED's etc.
I have some replacement bulbs waiting for me at home (I hope!) for the existing holder etc.
