Hi all
We have recently picked up a Bongo on EBay. At this very moment (11th Sept 13), it is being analysed & assessed by Adrian @ Japan Direct in Bury. We are expecting a few problems, but not loads. Then we need to get the vehicle through its MOT. By the time all this is done it will be early/mid October, and that's before we've had any fun in it. There's no way the vehicle will be ready to sleep/camp in by the time of the Clitheroe meet but we'd really like to turn up and have a look at some other Bongos. Basically, we have no idea on seating arrangements etc and many other things, so it would be of great benefit to us to come poking our noses around other Bongos to see how you keep yours. This would be the first time we'd of seen inside another Bongo (folk get annoyed if you accost them in Tesco Car Park and ask them can you see inside their Bongo).
We would therefore ask if it would be possible for us to arrive at the Clitheroe meet, (without us camping or staying over) to meet some of you and also to look at your setup. Hopefully, we will glean lots of ideas from other Bongonaughts when we've seen different setups & layouts etc.
Hope this is OK?
Thanks

That's normally fine and the best way to get ideas - without a salesman hovering.
Saturday would be your best day, by Sunday a lot of people will be packing up and you'll not see their Bongos at their best.
We did the same as you, except before we bought a Bongo, so we could search out the ideal one for us. We'd been to various dealers who were obviously keen to sell us what they had in stock, but when you can view 30 or so Bongos of all ages, converted, unconverted, all manner of awnings etc, you can't fail to be inspired.
Bring a camera. You won't remember all the details, but you can flick through pictures later and formulate your plans from there.
We'll be there, stop by for a brew

Thanks Muz
Looking forward to coming down and seeing a few different interiors and pick up some ideas. The thing we're most interested in is sleeping set ups etc, as opposed to Cooking in etc.
Thank you.
