Yet another fuel leak

Post by egor617 » Sun May 18, 2014 11:49 am

Guess what my bongo's fuel leak is back .

2012 fuel pump was rebuilt after it was leaking fuel
2013- had a fuel leak was diagnosed as split rubber injector hose
2014- feb fuel leak again diagnosed as split rubber injector hose again, bongo was serviced and coolant hoses were replaced and day later it overheated, garage diagnose a split in the new bottom hose they just put on and stuck a new one on and rebled the system and here i am 3 moths later with the bongo leaking fuel when it's being used.

Overnight there's no puddle it only happens when the engines warm and i've checked the coolant and it's still at the max line.

Think i'm going to take it to another local garage now what should be on a check list of things for them to check?

I'm really tempted to get rid of it as we never use it for camping , we have less dogs now so don't need the space and we just keep spending out without actually sorting anything.

Was it the injector return rail that had the faulty hose? All the pipes to the injectors are metal, but return changes from metal to rubber. The metal part of the return pipe has been known to split so it would be helpful if you could pinpoint exactly where the leak it.
