Mazda Front Curtain Rail Photo's
would anyone who has the Mazda OEM front curtain rail please be very kind & pop a picture up of the side brackets? I'm juggling the fit of one at the moment & would like to see where Mazda put them.

Any use?

The mid side brackets seem to tuck in behind the rubber seal while the end ones fit between the headlining and B pillar trim.

Hi Mark
How did you get on with this project?
I'm just nervously limbering up to order the materials online. I was going to bite the bullet and order today but then I noticed that they were unable to service orders until the middle of next week so I've put it off. I plan to buy through the link you recommended previously.
I would be really extremely grateful if you could post any pictures and if you have any top tips you could share with me.
I was going to order 4 x 1.5 meters. 2 for the front cab, all the way round from behind the passenger side seat, windscreen and finishing behind the drivers seat. And the two for the rear window, although I do wonder whether it would be cheaper, more straight forward and arguably just as good to use one of those springy, plastic covered wires to hold the bottom of the rear curtain in place.
I was going to order the gliss loop tape and gliders as I understand these then hold the curtain tighter against the rail and prevent light/cold/heat transfer better.
I've read that I should put magnets in the curtains so that they can be held shut too.
My real concern is fitting the rail. There's not much space behind the front seats to accommodate a curtain and I wonder whether they will obstruct the safety belts - plus on the drivers side there is the kitchen unit - so quite a tight squeeze to pull the curtain back into.
And there are two different types of screw I can order and I'm not sure which one is best/able to be used and I'm not sure of the difference between a mid rail and standard rail.
Arghhhhh who'd have thought curtains could be soooo tricky!
Thank you
Vicky
