Speed Limit in my 2.5 litre turbo diesel bongo

Post by Bothy2BongoNBack » Tue May 24, 2016 10:18 am

Have just taxed my new Bongo. It mentioned 'private light goods' ......does that mean I can only drive at 50mph on single carriageway and 60mph on dual and motorway ??? Basic question I know but this is my first Bongo just bought this weekend.

Your vehicle in particular registered as PLG class, is a car derived van thus comes under normal car regulations regarding speed limits .

Good Luck.

Yes as Rita stated,no restrictions for PLG.
Obviously that unless its classed as a grey import then you cant go above 30mph on normal roads and cant use the 2nd and 3rd lanes on motorways.
Oh,and your nor allowed on car parks when theres a y in the month

Welcome to the Forum.

Don't take any notice of Brian.

You might wonder how he booked so many peeps as a copper.

As said, speed limits the same as for a car. :D
