MOT fail, but not unhappy

This morning I took our Freda to have a coolant loss investigated and to be MOT'd. I've just had a phone call to say it failed has failed the MOT. Bad news I think. But it failed on a perforated rear exhaust and some repairable corrosion on the front crossmember. And the coolant loss is due to the radiator weeping, which wouldn't have helped the crossmember.
Compared to the terminal corrosion and cracked cylinder head that it could have been I think that's not too bad.
