Looks like time to say Good Bye

Post by winchman » Fri Nov 18, 2016 7:00 pm

Bertie is hardly used now as the kids are getting bigger.
So it looks like I will be selling him as the insurance runs out in Jan, so going to start cleaning him out, quite a sad time really, when I think of the days out, trips to Cornwall, being able to pick our daughter and 6 friends up when stranded etc.
If the new owner doesn't want all the odds and ends I have for him I will let you all know.
Thanks to all the people who have helped me out over the last 5 or 6 years and thanks to the two Mikes at Wheel Quick in Wigan for the excellent service.

Always sad to hear of a Bongo being put up for adoption, but I'm sure he/she will find a nice new owner to go on adventures with.

You know the Club rules, stay around, keep us up to date with your new wheels, and come along to Meets. :D

Thanks Bob
I will still pop in.
I am toying with the idea of building a motorhome for winch woman and I but keep being put off by the expense and work load, but its still far cheaper than buying one.

Route we've gone is a caravan.

Bongy is a great tow car, lots of living space on site, much cheaper than a motorhome, still have Bongy to run round in, either at home or on site. :D

Well Bertie is now in the sales section at a cheap price as the insurance runs out soon.
I will keep you posted with my next project
