good afternoon all
i hope someone can help me, quick brief i have read the thread about the front blower fan not working and i need some more help.
so i have a 1998 ford freda left to me when my dear friend passed away, he let it get in to a bit of a state so i am in the middle of a full refurbishment/restoration.
So far i have replaced the radiator as it was leaking like a sieve, new automatic gear oil, engine oil replacement and she ow runs sweet as a nut.
Then the deeper problems started... the windows working intermitantley traced to broken cable in door now sorted.now the fans front and rear are not working.
so i have followed all steps in the previous thread about stripping it down cleaning ect, applied 12v to the motor works great, went to earth 1 behind drivers headlight cleaned and polished so good earth now. the transistor/resistor thing under the drain hole is also good, but still no power, i've had the whole internal blower controls out to make sure its all plugged in and it is. my next step is relays i think.
so to the left hand side where the normal battery is there is 3 relays and to the right there is 2 relays, the 2 on the right seem to be the lighting relays as my little diy bridges turned the lights no and off..
im seriously stumped so if anyone can help that would be much appreciated.
thanks mike
