Loud whistle and over heating V6

Hi all

Yesterday took the bongo (V6 petrol 2012) to the garage as it was leaking coolant.

Turns out it was a hose that they have fixed (or so I thought)

However, driving it home the temp gauge reached high and a loud whistle was heard on the passenger side. I also noticed the hose has a slow drip ...

There is only one module that controls both sides. Perhaps the wires going into the module could be swapped around to do a diagnostic however, I do not know which ones to swap.

Re: Right side indicators not working, V6 new shape

The module is up under the passenger side footwell on the forward bulkhead - see the next page of the diagrams above for physical locations. Much easier to get to than the Stalk from other peoples comments!

Update

Checked all bulbs even those behind the dash and they work.

Found the module ...

Re: Right side indicators not working, V6 new shape

If neither the Indicator light nor the actual flasher lights are working then its either going to be the module or the stalk switch.

Can you hear the module clicking when the Right indicators are selected, compare with the Left side ? If there is no clicking it might indicate the ...

Thanks for the quick reply Rita. I haven't checked the bulbs yet. Would a faulty/blown bulb cause all the indicator lights on one side to go out? Any instructions on how to access the indicator bulbs?

Right side indicators not working, V6 new shape

Hi the right side indicators have stopped working on my Bongo.

The arrow indicator on the dash doesn't light up either. When putting the hazards on the right side doesn't work either.

My wife reports that this was an intermittent fault when she drove the other day.

Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Glow plug relay help

Had to call out the AA. They sprayed a load of easy start into the air intake and that worked. He believed because we park it on a slant there may have been an air blockage in the fuel?

Anyway gunna take it for a spin to charge the battery and buy some easy start.

thanks everyone for the help.

Re: Glow plug relay help

If the rail is getting voltage(12v) then the relay is deemed ok.
Try working the glow plugs 3 times then try to crank it over...
If it does try to start then it may well be a glow plug or two getting weak and the cold weather makes it worse.

Afraid that's not working.

What does it mean when it ...

Glow plug relay help

Bongo won't start today. Its never had any problems until today.

Read a few threads on here and I suspect a problem with the glow plug relay.

When i turn the ignition the glow plug light comes on as usual, however, no click. I have tested the glow plug rail with a multimeter and it is receiving a ...

Tyres look flat

What pressure should my tyres be, They are all 195/70r/15c but they look flat when inflated to the reccomended psi on the door plate.

I know to improve MPG some people have increased their psi to 40 on the 215, what should I have on my 195's.

Cheers
