help with heaters

can some one please help me
manual heaters (front)
changed motor as couldnt spin it
changed resister also

still no heaters
there is power there because when switch front to number 1 and press rear the rear work

any idea's welcome

Is the power getting to the fronts though? could it be the controller? iffy connections or loom to the front?

Check the fuses under the bonnet, different fuse for front & rear heater, diagram in members area :wink:

If they're "both 30a" how can they be the same as if there's a both that implies 2? :wink: Don't quite understand the logic of that statement :lol:

i meant to say that the front and the rear fuse in my bongo is 30a thats why i thought they were the same

There are two seperate fuses one 30 Amp for the Front Heater and one 30 Amp for the rear heater, hover your mouse over the Heater and R. Heater fuses and it will show you the positions.

Rear Heater

i have got a feed to the heater control as with engine running i switch heater control on and get a change in engine revs
switch back off and revs go back to normal

goin to try a new resister tommorrow

You sure the fan works? Try 12v across it direct & see if it spins up.

the breakers i bought it from said it was working when they took it out of the bongo
