Post by Triple/R » Sat Oct 09, 2010 10:28 am

Eyup everyone :) ~just noticed water dripping underneath~i can see where it's coming from but don't think it is coolant related (hopefully)~~from the pic it's that plastic hole at side of cable~could someone advise please.

The other day I noticed water cascading down immediately underneath the the engine tray.

As I had recently dealt with a coolant leak, I momentarily went into a blind panic. Although it was raining there seemed no reason why water should run off the bodywork there.

Well, I soon realised that rainwater should run out there and when it does it proves that the drain below the windscreen is working properly.

If in doubt put a bowl underneath. If it fills with clear drinkable water it is rain or condensation.

That's what foxed me at first, cus the drip was very close to the drain pipe from the windscreen & it was'nt even raining or wet.
