hey thanks :) I'd heard about the boat trips that pass the cove we're going to, that apparently is a haven for seals and pups in Autumn 8)
Shame you can't come :(

The 1 hour boats from new quay go up to here we have seen seals there several times
http://www.new-quay.com/cwmtydu.htm
the 2 hour goes almost to here
http://www.new-quay.com/llan.htm
there are quite a few dolphins feeding around here but to be honest we have seen them just as frequently on the 1 hour trip and from the harbour wall in new quay (scan out to the right from the sea end of the wall there is a marker bouy where they hang out.
The place in the second link is where i went swimming in october great beach and often decent surf BUT there are some dodgy currents around the rocks on the right so you,d need to keep an eye on the kids.Driving to either place isnt for the faint hearted but well worth it.
If you,re into nature head inland too here http://www.gigrin.co.uk/

so grumpy i cant get those days off but its people with kids who took them which is only fair. :(

Does anyone know whether this Erwbarfe Farm site provide firewood (for a fee), as Cae Du do, or do you take your own?

It would be good to know soon so I can get the plebs smashing pallets up if necessary

We're going wood hunting on Saturday, if we don't find any we'll buy some wood on the way, but NOT in London, they charge cheeky prices [-X

It is ok to have open fire there isn't it?

Tink will be jammed full of whatever we can find to burn :)
