I read WesternWarriors advice about checking ones AFT and while doing this today I noticed a creaking during the last bit of closing, and the roof gently rocks down as it pushes against some friction....is there a recognised service schedule for the AFT mechanism?
None of mine looks greased, should it be? I can't find a how to so I would be happy to write one if you guys have any ideas of what to do?
Thanks Jim

Re: AFT Service
We do lubricate ours regularly with something like luberice. Apply it, then open and close the roof a couple of times, it should stop the creaking.

Luberice? can't find that on t'internet - is that a silicone greese? thanks Jim
Re: AFT Service
Sorry, I spelt it wrong, it's lubrice.
I found THIS LINK which explains what it is. You might try a chain lube if you can't get it, others have used silicone lubricant... You're basically looking for a lubricant that doesn't dry out, and won't damage seals.
