Windscreen Washers

Post by maxi_77 » Wed Apr 27, 2011 6:42 pm

I am having difficulty in getting the passenger side washer to work properly. I have cleared the nozzles as well as I can but I still only get a dribble out of it. Is it a push fit in the bonnet and can it just be pulled out for proper cleaning. If it is beyond help is there an easy replacement, bearing in mind we are in Portugal

I found that a piece of 15mm plastic water pipe was the right diameter to press the locking clips in enough to remove the nozzle from the bonnet. Having removed the pipe connected to it first :)
If you need a small length rather than buying 2meters then let me know and I can send a small bit over.

Would a bit of 1/2 inch hose be the same

It could be worth a try. I will measure the inside diameter of the pipe and let you know the size needed.

Tony

PS
Just measured a piece of pipe and anything with an 11mm inside diameter will do.
