Child lock - tried flicking it the other way but still wont release......not sure which position is non-child locked now though? Anyone confirm, up or down?
Re: Sliding Door Stuck - not electrical
Up for child lock on and Down for off, with the '1'
Handle would work from the outside though.

Re: Sliding Door Stuck - not electrical
Thanks for all help. I tried to follow the links and take the door card off etc. but I couldn't work out how to get the door handle off easily
I cut the pipe off where it was stuck and I could see the adaptor bits stuck, with a bit of hacksaw cutting and pushing, the offending bits all came out:

Once all removed, the door would shut and the "soft close" would power up and pull it in, but opening was not happening..well not easily. The window trim was mangled - it's quite a tough bit of plastic. I now need to pull the door at the back end to get it over this piece.

I need to replace this bit, is it available or do i need a breaker donor vehicle? I'm assuming it's simply held on with Silkaflex/Tiger Seal or equivalent?
Cheers
Dan

Try the usual suspects breakerwise.. It ain't gonna cost that much to post..!

in the sun it seems to have gone back to it's original shape.......some sort of memory in the plastic. May need to replace though, who would the usual suspects breakerwise?
