Power Steering Top Seal Removal Tip

Post by munroman » Thu May 26, 2011 10:40 pm

Hi All, I have previously mentioned that I ended up using a small drill to drill a hole in my steering rack top seal, then used a woodscrew and pliers to remove it.

The only downside to this was the risk of the drill slipping and damaging something it shouldn't have.

A guy with a Land Rover has used a small sleeve slipped over the drill bit to prevent this happening, this should show the drill and the sleeve, which only allows the tip of the drill to protrude.

You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
