Hi All, This is not strictly a bongo prob, just a Bongo engine problem. My Friend has fitted a 2.5 td motor from a Bongo into a Ford Ranger, however the Ranger fuel pump has a chip inside so it was fitted to the Bongo motor, problem is pump timing ,can't seem to find any info on setting up fuel pump timing. So come on all you boffins.
Thanks for any help in advance.

Re: Feul pump timing
pump timing is set by a locating key (woodruff) as you install the pump? as its directly driven from the crank?

Re: Fuel pump timing
Thanks for that,is it possible to move the gears from crank to fuel pump, this motor has been stripped down a long way.
Re: Fuel pump timing
erm no idea! assumedly its gear driven and therefore could be offset
