hi guys , i need a bit of help diagnosing a problem with my front heater fan , i can hear it turning but its only very slow with very little air coming out also when i turn the switch it does alter the fan speed , so the question is is it the switch the fan itself or is there something else in between i don't know about

It might be worthwhile checking the linkages on the heater box between the drivers and passengers footwell. These can become detatched at times.

Don't forget to unblock the drain hole below the windscreen, centre of the channel.
If blocked rainwater runs straight into the heater motor.

No it doesn't - urban myth, there's no way that I can see that water can get in from there, have a look at all the lips etc on the plastic ductingBob wrote:Don't forget to unblock the drain hole below the windscreen, centre of the channel.

OK.
I still poke a stick down the hole, just in case.

Good idea to keep it clear, but it shouldn't be disastrous if it's not
