And then once Tony graduated, he was able to work on the planning and design of the New Town  (now was that Edinburgh or Warrington? :-k :-? )

Hi
Dunslair....
Never been to the Norse countries, but I once owned a Fjord Capri....Ghastly car ...I had a hankering to go to live in parts northerly, though.
Tony...
I went for a wee trip-ette from Edinburgh to Crieff, and the Glenturret distillery...not a bad wee drop, but Inchgower is still my favourite, but I've not found it over here....whisky is cheaper here than the UK, and occasionally they have "National" days at Metro, (Makro in the UK) when they feature a country's products...they had a Russian Vodka on sale at 850.00 quid...way too much for my taste, but I'd love a slurp!!!!!...still keep looking for some of my favourites, though  ...surprisingly enough, I sampled a hugely palateable double distilled Rakiya matured in wood, which a friend made and laid down when his son was born, and cracked it for his 30th birthday.....and without doubt it was as good as a fine whisky...YUM
Cheers
Helen
In the beginning there was nothing , then God said "Let there be Light".....There was still nothing , but ,by crikey, you could see it better.

Would I be able to turn up at the time without booking?

Probably not, unless you want to pay full site rate. I'm just about to hand back the remaining places to the site for open sale. But if they tell me I have guaranteed to pay for a certain amount of pitches, then you should be OK. I'll know by next Monday.

Still got the Bongo so I will be there if there are any pitches left. Sort things out with you on line as usual Ian.

We've decided to cut our losses and allow people to book in for 1 night only (£21) rather than a weekend fee. More details in the members area of main website here: http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/member ... tm#rallies

That's a shame Matt.

I was thinking we could drag Muz out for a nice wet walk somewhere. again!

How about this one Brian? The start is only 4 or 5 miles down the road from the campsite. There are shorter walks available in the same area if the weather is bad or you are short of puff. Never been there myself yet but it has been on my to do list for quite a while. I bought the 1:25000 explorer map of the area some time ago.
