I have the electrical manual CDROM and Service Manual; additional diagrams from LushPorducts.com; and some searching on posts throughout Bongo Fury, but still confused?

Removed BOTH rear cluster assemblies and no stub harness. Ideas?

Do you suggest pulling each inner side panel and removing rear seat belts to gain access? Or do I connect via the rear clusters? In the later case I would breach the rubber gromet.321Away wrote:No stub harness but bongo's are easy when it comes to towbar wiring.
Towbar Function Bongo

I agree, however to meet with thatcham specs a towbar should be fitted with scotchblocks! what the vehicle security board have to do with towbars is beyond me!! apart from having to pay them an extra few hundred quid a year to be a listed qualified towbar fitter,if there is such a thing lolhaydn callow wrote:Solder the joints.....scotchlocks suck !!
Agreed with the scotchlocks.... Unreliable continuity with the Bongo wires...haydn callow wrote:Solder the joints.....scotchlocks suck !!
Yes, a fairly easy setup afterall!jaylee wrote:Like Julian said, there is a fair amount of "slack" in the loom behind the panel...
.. Though i haven't been there for towing electrics, i have installed an axillary reverse light.
Thanks Jaylee!jaylee wrote:Glad you got it sorted Dave..Happy camping!!
