Without wanting to sound really thick...
I've just come across this thread so have started to read through other threads, and it sounds like I can just put veg oil straight into the fuel tank and make sure there's plenty of diesel in, around 20%, I don't have to get a special filter or conversion ...

Re: Excess engine oil
Really impressed with Japan Direct in Bury, rocker gasket sorted, replaced the fuel gage and a few other jobs, and it it costs very little.
Will be taking it back there for any other jobs that need doing.

Shouldn't be. I go to Adrian at Japan Direct in Bury 0161 763 3003. He is excellent with Bongos, good on price, and may get a gasket (if it needs one) cheaper than the Bongo Shop.
Great thanks, I'll ...

Re: Excess engine oil
Cheers for the replies.
Is it a big problem and is it something that I need to get sorted asap?
It's still ok to drive?

Excess engine oil
Hi, I'm a complete novice when it comes to engines etc, I've had my Bongo for 4 months and finally looked at the engine to check the oil.,I found a fair bit of oil on the engine (only on the passenger side), is this something to worry about? It looks like it's coming from the engine?

Squeaky roof
When putting the roof up, we get a lot of squeaky like it needs lubricating.
I'm not sure about spraying it with WD40, any tips on whats the best thing to use?
Thanks
