Hi the wheel arches are ok i'ts just the start of rust around the rear wheel arches, I thught that maybe fitting plastic inner arches would
help keep the elements away and maybe the rust, at least for a while longer.

Plastic wheel arches (inner)

Hi Folks, does anybody out there know of any plastic inner wheel arches that would fit or can be addapted to fit the Bongo?

Many thanks for the information, as I stated the motor is in a sorry state ( the carbon brush springs are broken ) and a new one via Bongo discount parts is £175, can I ask if any of you are you aware of a less expensive outlet for these items?

Heater control not working

Hi folks, looking for advice regarding the front fan heater which has stopped working, I've taken the fan motor ( which when exposed I was unable to turn ) out, cleaned it, lubricated it and although it lookes in poor condition reinstalled it but to no effect,

Hi Jeff,
The problem turns out to be the fuse like cct on the back of the Cigar lighter as you suggested, thanks for that,

The ignition is on and I do not have a leisure battery, thanks for the fast reply's I'II check the rear of the cigar lighters.

After plugging a faulty water pump (not known at the time) into the cigarette lighter ( both of them tried ) both are now
dead i.e no 12v output , I have tested the number 8 15a fuse and it's ok, The Bongo is a 2.5D 1995 model. Looking at the wireing diagram ( I think its the correct one) it appears ...

Electric Window failure

We are unable to open driver or passenger windows, both window switches are inoperable, I have checked fuse 14
and it is ok . I have also checked for 12volts on the drivers door switch without success, can anyone please suggest where the problem may be?

Hi Folks,
I have removed the door panels ( 2 or 3 times ) to replace the speakers, but now the passenger window will not open
either from the passenger door switch or the drivers switch,the connection in the door appears ok, there is a votage
at the connector inside the door and the drivers window ...

Many thanks to you all for your advice and thoughts regarding my oil leak, there is plenty to think about, a presure test is a good start but if Simons bill is about the average i ceartainly will not be going down that road unless i have to.
